This orange chamomile cold brew tea is the perfect summer thirst quencher! Using a combination of orange peels, chamomile tea bags, freshly sliced ginger and fresh mint, it’s not only caffeine-free but also very low in calories. This is a safer alternative to the ever popular Sun Tea version. Why? Sun tea, tea that is literally brewed outside in the sun for several hours, runs the risk of harboring unwanted bacterial growth due to the temperature not rising to the safety zone quickly enough. You also store the sun tea in the fridge after it’s done brewing, so why not start there and keep it 100% safe from the get-go?!

Feel free to brew for as little as 4 hours and as long as 8. I tend to go on the longer side because I prefer a stronger tasting tea. The options with cold brew teas are limitless! Give it a try and start experimenting with your fav flavors. Happy Summer Solstice!

Did you know? In 2022 Colorado voters passed Prop 122: The Natural Medicine Health Act (SB 23-290) which decriminalized the personal use, sharing, cultivation and possession of 5 psychedelic plants and fungi. Under this Coloradans who are 21 years or older are allowed to grow and ingest mushrooms that contain psilocybin and psilocin for personal use.
