Equipment

  • 1½ gallon glass jar with a lid

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon filtered water
  • 8 bags chamomile tea
  • 3 oranges
  • 3" piece of ginger root
  • ½ oz mint

Instructions

  • Cut the oranges horizontal/opposite to the stem side and juice them. Pour the juice into a glass and enjoy while you make the rest of the tea! Set the peels aside.
  • Slice the ginger root into ¼" pieces.
  • Add all the ingredients in a large 1½ wide-mouthed glass jar with a lid. Stir to combine and tighten the lid. Brew in the fridge for 4-8 hours depending on taste preference.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer over a large pot. Rinse the glass jar then return the tea back to it.
  • Refrigerate and enjoy within 3 days.

Notes

  • The longer you brew the stronger tasting the tea will be. Somewhere between 4-8 hours is the sweet spot though!
